Using Mycora
By using Mycora, you agree to use the app lawfully and responsibly. These terms apply to the Mycora iOS app and its related support pages and online services.
Mushroom safety
Mycora is an educational identification aid, not a safety certification. Photo-based and AI-assisted identification can be incomplete or wrong. Never eat, handle, administer, or recommend a wild mushroom based only on Mycora. For safety-critical decisions, consult a qualified local mycologist, poison control service, medical professional, or other appropriate expert.
AI-generated and identification results
Results, candidate species, confidence language, warnings and AI chat responses are informational. Environmental conditions, photo quality, look-alike species and model limitations can affect output. You remain responsible for decisions you make using the app.
Your content
You keep ownership of photos, notes and messages you create. When you submit content for identification or AI chat, you give Mycora and the service providers needed to fulfill that request permission to transmit and process that content for the requested feature.
Subscriptions and purchases
Paid subscriptions are offered through Apple's App Store. Prices, billing periods, trial terms (when offered), renewal and cancellation controls shown by Apple govern the transaction. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings and use the in-app Restore Purchase action for eligible prior purchases. Mycora does not directly process your payment-card details.
Availability and changes
We may update, limit, suspend or discontinue features when needed for reliability, safety, security, legal compliance or product changes. Remote configuration can change non-material app behavior without an App Store update.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, submit unlawful content, or use automated traffic in a way that harms the service or other users.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mycora is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without a guarantee that results are complete, accurate, continuously available or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Apple terms
Where applicable, your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's App Store terms and the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
