Data disclosure

A concise summary of the data flows present in the current Mycora iOS build.

Identification

Sent when you request it: the mushroom photo selected for analysis, plus request metadata needed by the identification service.

AI chat

Sent when you use chat after its disclosure: your question, limited recent chat context, and an app-generated device identifier through Mycora's service to the AI provider.

On-device journal

Stored on your device: saved photos, candidates, notes, favorites, timestamps and optional saved location. Export occurs only when you initiate it.

Firebase

Analytics: important product events and app/device metadata. Crashlytics: crash and non-fatal diagnostics. Remote Config: installation/configuration requests and app configuration values. We do not intentionally add scan-photo contents, chat text, precise location, or journal notes to Firebase Analytics events.

Apple

StoreKit/App Store: Apple processes subscription and purchase-account information and provides the app with entitlement status.

Advertising

No advertising SDK is present in the current app build, and the app's reserved remote ad flags default to off.
